The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, industry experience, and leadership capabilities. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is a plus. Candidates should have at least 12 years of professional software development experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of full-stack engineering and system architecture. Prior experience in securities, financial services, or technology-first organizations will be advantageous. Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and designing RESTful and streaming APIs is essential. Hands-on experience with cloud-native solutions, including microservices, containerization, and deployment patterns, is required. A solid understanding of NoSQL and distributed data stores is also necessary. Additionally, familiarity with AI-enabled capabilities, including GenAI or machine learning-driven services, and their responsible implementation in enterprise platforms, is highly desirable.
