BCforward is seeking a Full Stack Engineer with expertise in Agentic AI to join our onsite Plano, TX team on a contract basis. The role focuses on building and operating production agentic AI systems using Python, ML in production, and modern orchestration patterns.

Job Description

We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with Agentic AI expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Python, Agentic AI, and Machine Learning and a proven ability to design, build, and operate production agentic AI systems at scale.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate production agentic AI systems, including deployed, monitored, and debugged agents running at scale.
• Own agentic use cases end-to-end, partnering with business stakeholders from problem definition through delivery and operational support.
• Design orchestration patterns for autonomous or semi-autonomous agents using modern agent frameworks and production orchestration layers.
• Develop enterprise capabilities as tools or skills for LLMs to enable controlled, scalable interaction with business systems and workflows.
• Engineer reliable backend services for agentic workloads with emphasis on Python and integration with Java service layers where required.
• Implement and support production infrastructure for AI workloads, including Kubernetes-based environments and model-serving components such as vLLM.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python with demonstrated delivery of production services.
• Hands-on experience with Agentic AI patterns, LLM tooling, and agent frameworks.
• Strong Machine Learning foundations and applied ML in production contexts.
• Experience with production monitoring, debugging, and reliability practices.
• 8+ years of relevant industry experience with the required skills.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Java full stack development and Microservices design.
• Event streaming with Kafka.

Additional Details

This is an onsite role in Plano, TX. Candidates must be local to the Plano, TX area.

Travel and expenses will not be reimbursed by the client.
