Job summary

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of demonstrable professional experience on the Express.js web stack.
• Experience developing, supporting, and maintaining Node.js applications, including troubleshooting defects and implementing enhancements.
• Experience developing responsive web applications using React and Next.js.
• Experience with common design and code patterns (DI, singleton, factories, etc.).
• Experience working on high-concurrency public web applications.
• Experience implementing industry best practices related to code construction and web app security.
• Familiarity with Bootstrap framework.
• Experience with agile development environments and Scrum is a plus.
• Business domain experience in e-commerce/back-office apps is a plus.
• Experience writing unit tests in an MVC environment is a plus.
• Experience in AWS environment is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with secure enterprise-level apps is a plus.
• Experience writing multi-threaded apps in Node.js is a plus.
• Experience optimizing slow-running apps for performance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Familiarity with the Bootstrap framework
