Turbo AI is hiring engineers in New York to ship user-facing features end-to-end with ownership. You will move quickly, iterate based on analytics, and own the problem from ideation through delivery.

WHY Turbo Engineering?

You ship a feature in the morning and watch tens of thousands of people use it that afternoon. No PMs, no spec handoffs, no quarterly planning cycle. Engineers own features end-to-end: from identifying the problem -> brainstorming solutions -> implementing it -> monitoring user analytics -> decide what iterations to make - you're not just a code monkey.

That combination is rare. Most places give you scale with no ownership, or ownership with nobody using the thing. Here you get a small team, real surface area each, and a million people a month on the other end of it.

Most of this job is judgment and communication. In a world where coding is faster than ever with smarter LLMs everyday, deciding what to build and what to skip, then telling everyone clearly what you're doing and why is the priority. If you can look at a business problem, work out which part actually matters this week, and explain that in a few sentences, you'll do very well here.

HOW WE WORK

We continuously optimize for solutions that take 20% of the time for 80% of the value before sinking precious engineering resources into areas.

If it can be done in 200 lines with tools we already have, that's the right answer, even if it isn't elegant and even if it needs redoing in three months. Shipping something 80% right today beats something perfect next month.

This is the thing we care about most. If your instinct is to build the framework instead of the script, or to handle every edge case before shipping, you'll find this frustrating.
