Job summary

QuotaPath in Austin is seeking a software engineer to contribute to our product by collaborating with Product, Design, and your squad to ship impactful features and milestones, while taking ownership of critical components.

You will turn designs into intuitive user experiences, learn from senior engineers, estimate work with the tech lead, write tested, maintainable code, and participate in code reviews and architectural discussions.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with React, TypeScript and/or Python.
• Full lifecycle product development from ideation to maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product, Design, and squad to ship features and milestones.
• Turn designs into intuitive user experiences with designers.
• Estimate work with tech lead and align with business objectives.
• Write quality, tested code and ensure maintainability.
• Participate in code reviews, planning, and architectural discussions.
• Leverage AI coding assistants and internal automations while maintaining code quality.

Job description

• Contribute to the future of our product by collaborating with Product, Design, and your squad to ship impactful features and milestones
• Bring designs to life by working closely with designers to build seamless, intuitive user experiences
• Learn and grow alongside senior engineers while helping to support and onboard newer members of the team
• Help scope and estimate your work in collaboration with your tech lead, keeping tasks aligned with business objectives
• Write quality code with an emphasis on writing tests, ensuring maintainable and scalable solutions
• Participate in architectural discussions and contribute ideas around code quality, documentation, and best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and issues in collaboration with Product, Sales, and Customer Success
• Take initiative on your own work while knowing when to ask for support, and participate in collaborative opportunities such as hackathons, guilds, and engineering jams to explore creative solutions and contribute beyond day-to-day responsibilities
• Participate in code reviews and planning conversations to continuously improve team processes and output
• Work with AI and automation by leveraging AI coding assistants and internal automations to build faster, while owning the quality and correctness of what you ship
