Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Irving, TX seeks a Full Stack Developer with a strong emphasis on UI/Frontend development; you will design and build high-quality, scalable web applications—from pixel-perfect user interfaces to robust backend services.

You will design, develop, and maintain responsive interfaces, translate wireframes into clean code, ensure cross-browser compatibility, and collaborate with UX/UI designers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Minimum of 4+ years of professional, hands-on full-stack development experience in an enterprise environment.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks (React.js/Angular/Vue.js) and backend in Node.js/Java; microservices architecture is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible, and performant web interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.
• Translate UI/UX wireframes and design mockups into clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness across all supported platforms.
• Optimize frontend performance via lazy loading, code splitting, and caching strategies.
• Implement and maintain component libraries and design systems for UI consistency.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to refine and improve user experience.
• Write unit and integration tests for frontend components.
• Backend development as needed, focusing on microservices and Spring Boot based services.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevOps practices.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure cloud-native architectures with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/OpenShift.

Roles & Responsibilities

Full Stack Developer with a strong emphasis on UI/Frontend development; responsible for designing and building high-quality, scalable web applications — from pixel-perfect user interfaces to robust backend services

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible, and performant web interfaces using modern frontend frameworks.
• Translate UI/UX wireframes and design mockups into clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness across all supported platforms.
• Optimize frontend performance through techniques such as lazy loading, code splitting, and caching strategies.
• Implement and maintain component libraries and design systems to ensure UI consistency.

• Backend Development (Secondary Focus)
• Experienced in Micro services architecture and java with good understanding of design patterns, spring boot framework
• Expertise in RESTful web services, and includes Advanced JavaScript architecture.
• Knowledge of MongoDB, Kubernetes
• Expertise in Java,J2EE Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Eureka, Spring Cloud Gateway, Spring Security
• Support CI/CD pipelines and contribute to DevOps practices.

• Deep Understanding of service design for Cloud environment and related technologies Dockers, Kubernetes, AWS and OpenShift.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Frontend (Must-Have)

Skill Details

• React.js / Angular / Vue.js Strong proficiency in at least one major framework (React preferred)
• HTML5 / CSS3 / SCSS Deep understanding of semantic HTML and advanced CSS techniques
• JavaScript / TypeScript Strong command of ES6+ features and TypeScript
• State Management Experience with Redux, Zustand, NgRx, or similar
• Responsive Design Proficiency with CSS Grid, Flexbox, and mobile-first design
• UI Component Libraries Hands-on experience with Material UI, Ant Design, Tailwind CSS, or similar
• Browser DevTools Proficiency in debugging and performance profiling
• Testing Experience with Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or Playwright

Backend (Required)

Skill Details

• Node.js / Java / Proficiency in at least one backend language/runtime, Microservices, Layered Architecture
• REST APIs Design and consumption of RESTful services
• Databases Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB)
• Authentication Familiarity with OAuth2, JWT, and session management
