Job summary

Zillion Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled developer in McLean, VA for a 50/50 front-end and back-end role. You will work on scalable web apps using Angular and Java/Spring, with emphasis on clean code and robust testing in modern environments.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience (4+ preferred) with Java 11+, Angular 20+, Spring Boot, Jenkins, AWS, Kubernetes EKS, and Gradle. Sponsorship available; active production work; strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance; contribute to documentation.

Job description

Work sponsorship is available for this role

• This role will be 50/50 front to back-end development
• Ang 17+ will work, but the wants V20 if possible
• This proj is based on cash in cash out work flow
• Application is in production
• Take a story, get clarifications as needed, and be able to independently deliver on the story
• Be able to do testing as needed, back end testing in Junit and automation testing in Cypress or Cucumber, be able to trouble shoot in a non-prod EKS environment
• Basic AWS services knowledge is required

Must Have Qualifications: The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years, with a strong preference for 4 or more years, experience working with Java version 11 and above, Angular version 20 or higher, Spring Boot, Jenkins, AWS cloud, Kubernetes EKS, and Gradle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Angular for front-end and Java/Spring for back-end
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards
• Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, product managers, and other developers
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends

Technical Skills

• Front-End: Strong proficiency in Angular (TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3)
• Back-End: Extensive experience with Java and Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data)
• Testing: Solid understanding of testing methodologies and frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine, Karma, Selenium, Cypress)
• Database: Experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases
• Version Control: Proficient with Git and collaborative development workflows
• API Development: RESTful API design and implementation
• Build Tools: Maven, Gradle, npm, webpack

Compensation: $70.00 – $80.00 per hour. This is the targeted compensation range for this role per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location.
