Job summary

Luxoft, a global financial markets infrastructure and data provider, is transforming how trading gets done with a modular, end‑to‑end platform.

In this hybrid role, you will build backend services with Spring Boot and REST APIs, connect them to a React UI, work with SQL databases, and collaborate closely with product and QA in an Agile team.

You’ll grow technically across trading systems and modern engineering practices in a stable, scalable environment.

Qualifications

• 5-8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Solid experience with Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Experience building REST APIs.
• Good knowledge of React and connecting it to backend services.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL).
• Experience with Git and Maven/Gradle.
• Experience with Agile development.
• Comfortable working in Linux/Unix environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve backend services and web applications.
• Write clean, well-tested code following solid engineering practices.
• Work closely with frontend developers to connect backend services to the UI.
• Help troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate daily with product owners, QA, and other developers in an Agile team.
• Keep existing systems stable and reliable while improving them.
