Job summary

Intone Inc. seeks a pragmatic, high-output Full Stack Engineer for a 6+ month contract in Atlanta, GA. You will architect, build, and scale end-to-end apps, delivering performant interfaces and robust APIs while integrating AI features and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

You will work with AWS/GCP cloud services, IaC, and modern tooling to enable secure, scalable systems that serve thousands of internal users.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience building and scaling web apps or SaaS platforms.
• Proficient with TypeScript, React, Next.js and modern CSS (Tailwind).
• Experience with Node.js (Express/NestJS) and/or Python (FastAPI/Django).
• Familiar with relational DBs (PostgreSQL/AWS Aurora) and vector stores (pgvector, Pinecone).
• Deep AWS/GCP knowledge and IaC (Terraform, AWS CDK, etc.).
• Experience with Bedrock/Vertex AI, LangChain, and RAG architectures.
• Docker and CI/CD (GitLab CI).
• Automated testing (Jest, PyTest, Playwright, Cypress).
• Strong focus on code quality, architecture, and maintainability.
• DevOps mindset for cloud-native deployment and monitoring.
• Proficiency with AI coding assistants.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a pragmatic, high-output Full Stack Engineer to help build intelligent systems that serve thousands of internal users, removing manual friction through agentic workflows and high-level AI orchestration. This is a contract position based in Atlanta, Georgia, with a duration of 6+ months.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and scale end-to-end applications, taking ownership of major platform features to ensure they are performant, scalable, and resilient.
• Build responsive, highly interactive, and accessible user interfaces while managing complex global state and optimizing frontend performance.
• Design and implement robust RESTful and GraphQL APIs, architecting microservices or modular monoliths capable of handling high-throughput enterprise traffic.
• Design and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines, enforcing strict automated testing, containerization, and deployment strategies (Blue/Green, Canary) to ensure code is safely tested and deployed.
• Integrate large language models into the platform using Amazon Bedrock or Google Vertex AI, building secure RAG pipelines, managing vector databases, and implementing AI features that drive user value.
• Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools to accelerate generation of boilerplate and standard logic while focusing human effort on platform architecture, code review, and system design.

Qualifications

Required

• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience with a demonstrated history of building and scaling comprehensive web applications or SaaS platforms.
• Production-level hands‑on experience with TypeScript, React, Next.js, and modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS).
• Production-level hands‑on experience with Node.js (Express/NestJS) and/or Python (FastAPI/Django).
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/AWS Aurora) and vector data stores (Amazon OpenSearch Serverless, pgvector, or Pinecone).
• Deep familiarity with AWS services (Lambda, ECS/EKS, S3, API Gateway, DynamoDB) and/or GCP services (Cloud Functions, GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud Pub/Sub).
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, or GCP Deployment Manager).
• Experience with Amazon Bedrock (interacting with Foundation Models like Claude or Llama), Google Vertex AI, LangChain/LlamaIndex, and RAG architectures.
• Proficiency with Docker and CI/CD platforms such as GitLab CI.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, PyTest, Playwright, or Cypress).
• Strong focus on code quality, architecture, and design; ability to review and refactor code rigorously to ensure maintainability and prevent technical debt.
• DevOps mindset with the ability to safely deploy, monitor, and maintain applications in cloud-native environments.
• Advanced proficiency with AI coding assistants (Cursor, GitLab Duo, or Claude Code).

Preferred

• Experience establishing developer platforms or internal tooling to improve team velocity.
• Background in advanced cloud security and IAM role management.
• AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer, DevOps Engineer, or Machine Learning Specialty).
• Experience with observability tools (Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, Google Cloud Monitoring, or Google Cloud Logging).
