Guidehouse seeks a highly skilled Full Stack & DevOps Engineer to support NIH/NLM OCCS projects. Build and modernize web apps, enable interoperability, and operate secure cloud infrastructure.

Expect hands-on Python/Django, Java, Node.js, React/Angular, and AWS across secure REST/GraphQL services. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
• Strong RESTful API design experience.
• Proficiency in Python (Django/FastAPI), Java (Spring Boot/Quarkus), and Node.js (Express/NestJS).
• Frontend with React or Angular and modern web tech (HTML, CSS, JS).
• Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, S3, RDS/Aurora, Lambda).
• MongoDB and relational DBs (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
• Selenium/WebDriver test automation and cross-browser testing.
• CI/CD pipelines: GitLab/GitHub/Jenkins; Docker; Kubernetes; IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• OAuth2.0, SSO, Zero Trust, NIH security requirements.
• Section 508/USWDS accessibility compliance.
• Git-based collaboration and strong troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services in Python/Django, Java Spring Boot, and Node.js, exposing secure REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Develop responsive frontends with React or Angular aligned with USWDS and accessibility.
• Implement automated Selenium test suites and maintain cross-browser coverage.
• Operate AWS-hosted environments and implement IaC for compliant deployments.
• Build CI/CD pipelines and enforce code quality and security scans.
• Administer MongoDB clusters and optimize queries and backups; manage relational DBs.
• Monitor services with CloudWatch/ELK/OpenSearch; tune performance and resilience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver interoperable solutions.
• Document architecture, runbooks, SOPs; mentor junior engineers and contribute to standards.
