Job summary

E-Logic in Washington, DC seeks a skilled Full Stack Software Developer to support the Congressional Budget Office under the SENTRY BPA. You will design, develop, test, and maintain web apps and backend services using ReactJS and Python/FastAPI, with trunk-based development and frequent main-branch integrations.

You will collaborate with engineers, product owners, and analysts to refine stories, build APIs, ensure quality through automated tests, and document architecture and data models.

Qualifications

• Experience with Python and FastAPI
• Proficiency in ReactJS development
• Strong PostgreSQL data modeling and queries
• Hands-on Docker containerization experience
• Familiarity with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS)
• Experience with trunk-based development, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews
• Automated testing experience (pytest, Jest, React Testing Library)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain front-end (ReactJS) and back-end (Python/FastAPI) features.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs with proper validation, error handling, versioning, and docs (OpenAPI/Swagger).
• Develop responsive, accessible front-ends meeting UX standards and Section 508.
• Model and optimize data in PostgreSQL; ensure data integrity and performance.
• Containerize applications with Docker and support deployment to AWS environments.
• Write and maintain automated tests for back-end (pytest) and front-end (Jest).
• Create and maintain technical docs, ADRs, data models, and setup guides.
