Job summary

MAPSYS Inc. is seeking a seasoned full-stack software engineer to own projects from design to deployment and ongoing support. You will build scalable backend services with Node.js/TypeScript, and create frontend apps with React/Next.js while collaborating with Product, Data, and Ops teams.

You will deploy on AWS, implement authentication and APIs, and drive CI/CD with GitHub Actions and Cloud Build, ensuring reliability, observability, and performance in production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent IT experience.
• 5+ years of professional full stack software engineering experience.
• Experience building scalable, production-grade web applications and backend services.
• Experience with JSON, RESTful APIs, and SOAP web services, including development and integration.
• Experience deploying and maintaining applications in AWS.
• Experience with observability, reliability, performance optimization, and production debugging.
• Ability to own projects end-to-end with minimal direction.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar.
• Experience with logistics, WMS, and/or manufacturing environments is a plus.

Responsibilities
