Job summary

NDA is seeking an experienced software developer to join a US-based product team. You will contribute primarily to a legacy codebase with modern Laravel, Vue 3, and TypeScript, ensuring robust REST APIs and scalable MySQL queries.

Strong English communication and a proven track record in remote, async collaboration are essential. Experience with Docker, Git workflows, and modern architecture patterns (DDR/Hex) is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of commercial software development experience.
• 1+ year of professional Laravel experience.
• Strong experience with Vue 3 and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of Laravel architecture and design patterns.
• MySQL query optimization, indexing, EXPLAIN, and migrations.
• Docker and multi-service Docker Compose.
• REST API design and versioning.
• Git workflows and code reviews.
• Strong written English.
• Comfortable with remote, async-first collaboration.
• Nice-to-have: legacy migrations, DDD/hexagonal architecture, Redis, CI/CD, PHPUnit, Pest, Vitest.
