55/Redefined is building an innovative SaaS platform focused on life and career transitions for individuals aged 50 and beyond. Our platform provides coaching and learning resources to support mid-life professionals in their personal and professional growth. We also have other areas of the business with B2B and B2C facing content which will require development and data flow to help support the other brands of the business.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced full stack developer to join our close-knit development team. You will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our SaaS platform and other smaller platforms within the company ecosystem, with a focus on the full tech stack with an ability to develop UI pieces and control the infrastructure within AWS, ideally building out definitions within Terraform. We’re also looking to leverage Agentic AI to drive scaling of platform features and functions which is a hugely exciting and interesting area to bring into our technology ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
DevOps on AWS to build and maintain secure infrastructureand manage deployments.
Develop and maintain UI and server-side logic – experience with React is essential – we use Next.js but the fundamentals of React are what is important.
Manage object data layers with underlying Postgres databases.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to our development processes.
Demonstrate new features and improvements to the wider business.
Work with external vendors / contractors to support flexible development throughout the business.
Experience
We are looking for an experienced full stack developer with extensive expertise in AWS cloud services and an ability to contribute to general development of platforms which are design and UI heavy. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex, scalable applications - ideally Multi-tenant SaaS platforms and possess the following experience:
Cloud Services Expertise: In-depth knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Bedrock, Lambda and ECS for deploying and managing scalable applications.
React and JavaScript: Ability to build and maintain dynamic, high-performance user interfaces that are design lead.
Database Management: Proficiency in managing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
DevOps and CI/CD: Experience with DevOps practices and tools, such as GitLab and Terraform to automate deployment pipelines and ensure continuous integration and delivery.
AI and LLMs: any experience of LLM APIs, AI Agents, Knowledge Bases and processes to enhance any aspect of platform development and features.
Authentication mechanisms: use of identity providers to authenticate users, ideally with experience of SSO.
Collaboration and Communication: Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive and efficient solutions.
Problem-Solving and Innovation: Strong problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovation, with a focus on delivering high-quality, maintainable code.

Your expertise will help us build a more cohesive and efficient platform, driving the success of our business.
