About The Role

We are actively seeking a Full-Stack Application Developer with expertise in .NET, React, and MS SQL to join our remote team supporting a government client focused on natural resource conservation. This role involves full stack software development to deliver technology that helps protect our nation’s soil, water, air, and wildlife by enabling science-based decision making.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy front-end and back-end code primarily using .NET (C#) and React
• Design and implement web services (REST and SOAP) for cross-application solutions
• Develop and maintain MS SQL databases for data persistence
• Participate in Agile/Scrum development processes including sprint planning and problem-solving
• Collaborate with system analysts, business analysts, and other development teams
• Prioritize and coordinate application modifications and bug fixes
• Contribute to team knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field required
• 3+ years overall IT experience; 2+ years hands-on software development experience
• Applicants without a degree considered with 7+ years relevant experience, including 4+ years as a software developer
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum
• Proficient in GIT source control
• Hands-on experience developing REST and SOAP services in .NET environment
• Front-end experience with React
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL and relational database principles
• Must be able to meet government background investigation requirements for public trust positions
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience in full software development lifecycle
• Familiarity with access control systems and configuration management
• Experience with Entity Framework and GIS software tools
• Knowledge of AWS and cloud-native solution development
