Job summary

FullStack is expanding its remote engineering network and seeking a talented Full Stack Developer with Elixir/Phoenix and strong JavaScript skills. You will join client teams on flexible, project-based work, contributing to both backend and frontend features, and collaborating with designers and engineers daily.

Requirements include 4+ years in software development, a four-year degree, and advanced English.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Strong experience with Elixir/Phoenix for backend development.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS and JavaScript for frontend work.
• Full-stack development with emphasis on frontend.
• Experience with SQL/PostgreSQL and/or Ecto.
• Experience writing automated unit and integration tests.
• Experience using Git and CI/CD environments.
• Understanding of design, quality, maintainability, testing, scalability and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with client teams on daily development work.

The Opportunity

Join our talent network and connect with U.S. clients for flexible, project-based development work as a Full Stack Developer (Elixir/Phoenix + JavaScript).

• You will integrate directly into our client's team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced English is required.
• Successful completion of a four-year college degree is required.
• Strong professional experience developing applications with Elixir/Phoenix.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Full-stack development experience with a strong focus on frontend development.
• Experience developing and maintaining customer-facing web applications.
• Experience working with SQL/PostgreSQL and/or Ecto.
• Experience writing and maintaining automated unit and integration tests.
• Experience using Git/source control and working within CI/CD environments.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, code quality, maintainability, testing, scalability, and collaborative code reviews.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Professional experience building eCommerce applications.
• Experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Familiarity with Docker.
• Experience with GitHub Codespaces or other remote development environments.
• Experience with Phoenix LiveView, React, or Vue is a trong plus.
• Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
• Forensic attention to detail.
• A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
• Experience working on Agile / Scrum teams.
• Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
