Job summary

LaraBench is seeking a Full Stack Developer to work on bespoke CRM systems. The role offers remote work within the UK with monthly visits to the West Sussex office.

The contract is permanent, with a salary of £40,000–£45,000 depending on experience, and scope to grow into a senior position with ownership of CRM and reporting activities. Essential experience includes developing or maintaining a bespoke CRM or similar platform, 5+ years of professional software development, and strong PHP/Laravel

Qualifications

• Five or more years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience developing or maintaining a bespoke or in-house CRM, or a similar customer-management platform.
• Strong PHP 8.3+ skills and Laravel experience in a Laravel 12–13 environment.
• Experience with Vue 3 and MySQL/MariaDB.
• REST API development and integration, version control with Git, and front-end basics (HTML/CSS).
• Ability to understand an existing codebase and communicate clearly with non-technical colleagues.

Full Stack Developer – Bespoke CRM Systems

Salary: £40,000–£45,000 depending on experience

Location: Remote within the UK, with visits to the West Sussex office monthly

The idea of this role is to develop into a senior role with ownership over CRM and reporting activities.

The role

• Maintain and enhance the existing bespoke CRM.
• Develop new features across the front end and back end.
• Translate business requirements into practical, user-friendly functionality.
• Build and maintain third party API integrations.
• Investigate bugs and improve application performance, reliability and security.
• Support the business's use of data, automation and AI.

Please highlight your hands-on development work: using a CRM or configuring an off-the-shelf system alone will not meet this requirement.

Essential experience

• Proven experience developing or maintaining a bespoke or in house CRM, or a custom business platform with equivalent customer-management functionality.
• Five or more years' professional software development experience.
• Strong PHP skills, including PHP 8.3 or later.
• Laravel experience relevant to a Laravel 12–13 environment.
• Vue 3.
• MySQL or MariaDB.
• REST API development and integration.
• Git, HTML and CSS.
• Ability to understand an existing codebase and communicate clearly with non technical colleagues.

Desirable experience

• Integrations with finance partners, lead sources or payment providers.
• OAuth/API authentication, including Laravel Passport.
• Linux systems administration.
• Claude or similar AI coding tools, with the ability to independently write, understand and review code.
