Job summary

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IS, Eng or related field.
• Strong hands-on Python backend development.
• Experience building modern web apps with React.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
• Familiarity with SDLC, testing, deployment and version control.
• Experience with databases, SQL, and data integration.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Media & Entertainment industry experience is a plus.
• Experience working in large enterprise environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable full stack applications using Python and React.
• Develop robust backend services, APIs, and application logic using Python.
• Build responsive, user-friendly front-end applications using React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based applications and services using AWS.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, designers, and other engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and support production environments.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployments, technical documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

About the Role

This is a remote position supporting teams and stakeholders in the Los Angeles market. The Full Stack Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining modern web applications using Python, React, and AWS while collaborating closely with technical and business stakeholders.
