Scope of Services

1. Business need/background

Client's IT department is undertaking an effort to provide a modern web application for the clients served by all service areas in the department. Since 2016, Legacy ECA has supported ECF (Enterprise Communication Framework). A critical administrative component of ECF is ECA, which is being rebuilt to meet user demands for more flexibility. JavaScript is essential for developing innovative, flexible web apps, and Angular has been chosen as the framework to enhance reusability and maintainability.

One Angular Developer position is required to work with an existing team to ensure the successful delivery of this project, building on the modern web application framework for the client's users.

2. Work to be performed

• Implement responsive UI pages for modern web applications using Angular.
• Participate in functional design workshops and refactoring sessions.
• Work on user interface and consume services layer design.
• Support code migration to production and QA processes.
• Translate functional requirements into detailed architecture and design.
• Contribute to detailed estimation of development work.
• Perform regular code reviews to ensure high quality of code delivered.
• Document the code adequately for less experienced developers to learn and maintain it.

3. Specific skills/experience required

• Experience with accessibility guidelines (W3C)
• Proven ability to create prototypes using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Significant experience with Angular (13/14/x)
• Strong understanding of debugging
• Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Experience using OAuth and OpenID
• Drive to learn and produce quality code
• Experience with source control (GIT, Github)
• Hands-on development with Single Page Applications
• 5+ years of experience developing dynamic, interactive web interfaces
• Ability to manage and interface with APIs and RESTful services
• Experience in an agency environment
• Azure DevOps experience for CI/CD processes
• Familiarity with Scrum frameworks
