About the role:
We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer who will be responsible for planning, designing, coding, configuring, installing, testing, troubleshooting, integrating, performance monitoring, maintenance, enhancements, security management, and support of computer applications programs in a Microsoft .NET environment for the client’s Website Modernization Project. This role requires expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies, seamless API integration, and experience working in cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure.
Location: Remote
Project Duration: 2.5 years, with potential for extension
What you'll do:
Architect, develop, and deploy responsive web applications and services using .NET Core, ASP.NET, and modern JavaScript frameworks
Develop RESTful APIs and ensure secure and efficient integration with backend systems and databases
Collaborate with UX/UI designers, QA analysts, DevOps, and project managers to deliver high-quality functionality aligned with business requirements
Implement frontend components with React, Angular, or similar frameworks ensuring compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA standards
Build microservices and containers to support modular, cloud-native architecture
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; adhere to coding best practices and security guidelines
Participate in design reviews, sprint planning sessions, and daily stand-ups to provide input and status updates
Troubleshoot and resolve performance, functional, and cross-browser issues across the technology stack
Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and infrastructure automation using Azure DevOps
What you'll need:
Experience: 8+ years of experience in full stack development with deep expertise in .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server
Technologies: .Net Core, SQL Server, API, ASP.NET, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular, React JS, CRM (Salesforce.com), DevOps, Kubernetes, Microservices, Azure Data Factory, & related Cloud Technologies
Strong proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React.js, Angular
Experience building scalable and secure web services
Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization (Kubernetes), and DevOps practices
Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services
Solid understanding of relational databases, stored procedures, and data modeling
Knowledge of security principles and web accessibility compliance (WCAG 2.1 AA)
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or in a collaborative team environment
Experience working with New York City Public Schools (NYCPS) or other municipal agencies is a plus
Certifications: Microsoft/Azure certifications
