Job summary

CAC I is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a fast-paced agile team supporting a ServiceNow implementation. You will work across front-end and back-end technologies to deliver scalable, robust solutions and participate in Scrum cycles including design, automation, testing, and deployments.

Ideal candidates will have TS/SCI with Poly, a related bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, and strong experience with AWS, Docker/Kubernetes, REST, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems engineering, information technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience (or 7+ years without related degree).
  • Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II required within 1 month of start.
  • Proficiency with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular/Vue).
  • Proficiency with back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, Java).
  • Strong SQL and NoSQL knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Experience with Git and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux.
  • Experience with ServiceNow development and administration.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, integrate, deploy, and maintain baselines using Agile and CD practices.
  • Leverage diverse technologies to deliver product increments across security domains.
  • Collaborate with teams and stakeholders to deploy solutions and advanced concepts.
  • Ensure core technology integration for scalable data flow and functionality.
  • Support customer meetings and propose designs with acceptance criteria.
  • Create architecture/design/user stories/acceptance criteria documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents.

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Full Stack developer that is interested and passionate about working as part of a modern, fast-paced agile software development team supporting a ServiceNow implementation. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our diverse environment to drive innovation and efficiency. This position requires a blend of front-end and back-end development expertise, with a strong emphasis on creating seamless, scalable, and robust solutions. The successful applicant will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain deliverables that meet the evolving needs of our organization. Successful candidates will be part of a scrum team working on feature design and development, automation, testing, and deployments.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, test, integrate, deploy, and maintain product baselines using Agile, DevOps, and Continuous Delivery best practices
  • Leverage broad knowledge across a variety of technologies to deliver and maintain product increments across different security domains
  • Work closely with development and engineering teammates, and stakeholders to deploy solutions and advanced concepts
  • Ensure integration between core technologies to enable seamless data flow, scalability, and functionality
  • Support technical meetings with customers and stakeholders to propose designs and negotiate acceptance criteria
  • Create the necessary documentation to support the Agile life cycle (e.g., design, architecture, user stories, acceptance criteria)
  • Performing troubleshooting efforts and incident resolution
Qualifications:
  • An active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, systems engineering, information technology, or related field or equivalent experience

  • Proficiency in front-end technologies [e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)]
  • Proficiency in back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with configuration management processes (e.g., Git)
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services and containerization (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker) and orchestration technologies
  • Familiarity working in Linux Operating Systems
  • Experience developing analysis of alternatives, process improvement documents, design documentation, and presentations to brief results and recommendations
  • Experience working with multiple teams coordinating various integration projects
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to start, develop, and complete short and long-term projects

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) course to be completed within 60 days of start (certification not mandatory)

  • Experience with ServiceNow development and administration using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and modules such as IRM, SecOps and CAM
  • Ability to leverage scripting languages to speed deployments
  • Experience deploying, maintaining and optimizing PostgreSQL databases
  • Experience with identity management, access, and authorization solutions (e.g., PKI, LDAP, SAML)
  • Experience with REST, microservices, containers, and other architecture styles
  • Experience with Continuous Delivery, Infrastructure as Code, and Behavior and/or Test Driven development
  • Demonstrated experience with agile development practices, including Agile Scrum methodology
  • Knowledge of Intelligence Community (IC) processes, policies and guidance
  • Understanding of network technologies
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$103,800 - $218,100
