Description & Requirements: Provides subject matter proficiency for work described in the task. Responsible for supporting process improvement, specialized studies, and requirements definition through analytical skills. Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, procedures, and architectures, along with other management and technical tasks.

This position requires expertise in specific areas. Back-End Software Developers will perform engineering tasks such as designing back-end architectures, RESTful API development, database management, and data model optimization. Front-End Software Developers will focus on UI/UX design, creating mockups, wireframes, and implementing GUI modifications to improve user experience. The role is contingent upon contract award.

Requires an active Secret Security clearance or higher. Remote work is possible, with occasional paid travel to San Antonio, TX, or Baltimore, MD. Maximus TCS Job Profile Code: TCS196, T4, Band 7.

Required Qualifications:

• Secret clearance or higher.
• 7 years of experience in the relevant field.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; a master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.

Additional experience includes:

• 7 years in software development with object-oriented and scripting languages, including DevSecOps tools, microservices, and containers.
• Experience in system testing, bug tracking (Jira), web application testing, cloud development, and system integration.
• 5 years with Jenkins, GitLab, and at least five of the specified tools (e.g., NPM, Cypress.io).

Specialized qualifications:

• Back-End Developers: 3 years in back-end web development, relational databases, RESTful APIs, AWS, Kubernetes, RedHat Linux.
• Front-End Developers: 3 years in front-end web design, UI/UX standards, wireframes, mockups, UX tools (e.g., Sketch, InVision).

Desired Qualifications: Experience with DoD DevSecOps, CI/CD, and related build tools.
