Job summary

PFSbrands is seeking a Full Stack Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable software across multiple platforms. You will work with .NET Core/C#, JavaScript frameworks, and SQL Server, leveraging AI tools like Claude and GitHub Copilot to accelerate delivery.

You will collaborate with business users and other developers, maintain APIs, reports, and data flows, and contribute to a professional, growth‑minded team. Remote‑friendly with onboarding in office as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of .NET experience (ASP.NET Core, C#)
• 2+ years of JavaScript experience with a modern framework and TypeScript
• 2+ years of HTML and CSS experience
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git)
• Azure experience (App Services, Azure SQL) preferred
• Familiarity with cloud services, Azure required
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot)
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently

FULL STACK DEVELOPER

Reports to: Vice President, Technology

FLSA Status: Exempt

SUMMARY

This individual will support a variety of technologies and must be able to contribute in multiple areas of the department. This position will create, modify, and maintain all software systems utilized by the company, and will support, generate queries for, and otherwise maintain SQL Server databases. This Full Stack Developer demonstrates a high level of expertise and professionalism, applies modern development practices and AI tools—we are a Claude Code shop—to deliver quality software efficiently, and serves as a mentor to their peers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and maintain highly scalable software systems using .NET (ASP.NET Core / .NET 8+, preferably C#)
• Maintain internal and external-facing web applications
• Use Claude Code assisted development to accelerate delivery and improve code quality, and help evaluate where AI capabilities can enhance company applications
• Design, consume, and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party integrations to transport data between systems
• Make regular modifications to existing software for error correction and to improve overall function and performance
• Create database objects, write queries, and perform other functions using SQL Server
• Create reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI
• Collaborate with users, other developers, and subject matter experts to gather information and requirements; determine feasibility, limitations, and capabilities; and design user interfaces
• Use version control and participate in code review to maintain a healthy, collaborative codebase
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Experience

• 2 years minimum of .NET experience (ASP.NET Core, preferably C#) (required)
• 2 years minimum of JavaScript experience, including familiarity with a modern framework (React, Angular, Vue, or Blazor) and TypeScript (required)
• 2 years minimum of HTML and CSS experience (required)
• Strong experience with SQL and relational databases (required)
• Experience with version control (e.g., Git) (required)
• Deeper hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure SQL, and related services) (preferred)

Specialized Knowledge

• Familiarity with cloud services, Azure preferred (required)
• Working familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude) and interest in applying AI/LLM capabilities to business problems (required)

WORKING CONDITIONS
