Randstad Digital is seeking a seasoned software engineer for a contract role in Durham, NC. You will partner with cross-functional teams to understand objectives, design requirements, and build robust Java/Spring and Angular solutions.

You will deliver high-quality code, maintain strong test coverage, and participate in DevOps practices using Maven, Jenkins, Docker and Git on Linux environments. This role emphasizes collaboration and knowledge sharing across distributed teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field.
• 6+ years of experience with front-end and back-end technologies.
• Proven ability to deliver enterprise-scale Java/Spring and Angular apps on UNIX/Linux.
• Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Bachelor's Degree in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
• 6+ years of experience working with:
• Front-end technologies: JSP, HTML, CSS/SASS, jQuery, Angular
• Back-end technologies: Java, Spring Boot
• Databases and infrastructure: Oracle, Kafka, Kubernetes, AWS (EKS)
• 6+ years of experience supporting webservices and API's
• Experience writing SQL queries and debugging stored procedures in a SQL Server environment (ETL experience is a plus)
• Proven experience developing enterprise-scale applications using Java Spring frameworks and Angular on UNIX/Linux platforms
• Experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Maven, Jenkins, GIT, Docker, etc.)
• Working knowledge of commonly used operating systems, including Linux, Windows, and Ubuntu
• Understanding of containerization and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
• Hands-on experience developing and integrating cloud-based APIs (AWS preferred)
• Collaboration skills with both technical teams and business stakeholders

Ability to produce high-quality, well-tested code that adheres to Fidelity's standards, methodologies, and best practices

Focus on building systems that are robust, resilient, and stable

Accountability for end-to-end delivery of requirements or user stories, ensuring alignment with business needs and expectations

Proven experience mentoring and supporting junior team members

An innovative mentality with the ability to propose and deliver creative solutions
