Job summary

ECS Corporate Services is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join the USPS Inspector General's Office (OIG) in Arlington, VA. Work with data scientists to rapidly design, implement, test, and deploy analytics-friendly apps on cloud platforms.

Position is onsite 4 days a week, with a Public Trust background check and US Citizenship or Green Card status required. Responsibilities include building client/server architecture, APIs, and responsive front-ends, plus collaboration with end users and team

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• 3+ years of JavaScript development experience (client-side and server-side).
• 5+ years of full stack development experience.
• 5+ years of experience with languages Python, JavaScript, SQL, C#.
• Knowledge of HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Typescript, and jQuery.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks (Angular, React, Node.js).
• Knowledge of Python/C# back-end frameworks (Flask, Django).
• Familiarity with databases (MySQL, Teradata).
• Experience with REST and gRPC APIs; server deployment on Azure or AWS.

ECS is seeking a Full Stack Developer to work with data scientists and analysts to rapidly design, implement, test, and deploy applications and cloud-based platforms capable to tackling complex analytical tasks using large datasets. This position works for the US Postal Services' Inspector General's Office (OIG) at our Arlington, VA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon additional funding and requires a Public Trust background investigation. This entails an in-depth background check & either US Citizenship or Permanent Resident (Green Card) status.

Responsibilities include:

• Work with data scientists and analysts to rapidly design, implement, test, and deployapplications capable to tackling complex analytical tasks using large datasets
• Communicate with end users, team lead, and team members to create and support newproducts and features
• Communicate with product users to enhance or troubleshoot products
• Design client-side and server-side architecture
• Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
• Write effective APIs
• Build features and applications with a responsive design
• Write technical documentation and support data governance strategy
• Function in an Agile based team environment

Note: This position requires working onsite 4 days a week at out USPS customer site in Arlington, VA.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually
