Job summary

Shield Consulting Solutions, Inc. in Annapolis Junction, MD seeks a Full Stack Developer to sustain and enhance the TESTFLIGHT geospatial tool within the Reporting Tool Suite.

This role requires active TS/SCI with Polygraph and on-site work, with a rotating pager for emergency 24/7 on-call support.

You will work with Java 8+, C/C++, Python/Bash/PHP, Tomcat, Elasticsearch, Solr, Oracle, Spring Boot and RESTful services in a Linux environment.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining Java 8+ applications.
• Strong C/C++ skills and scripting (Python, Bash, PHP).
• Experience with Apache Tomcat, Elasticsearch, Solr, and Oracle.
• Spring Boot and RESTful services experience.
• Linux environment proficiency and system integration understanding.
• Ability to troubleshoot interfaces between multiple applications.

Responsibilities

• Implement high-priority enhancements for the geospatial collaboration platform.

Job Description:

• We have an immediate need for a Full Stack Developer to support Reporting Tool Suite Sustainment efforts. Support will focus on development and sustainment of the TESTFLIGHT tool.
• TESTFLIGHT is a high-performance geospatial collaboration tool that provides a single repository for formal and informal finished intelligence products. Efforts will include creating enhancements for TESTFLIGHT based on high-priority mission needs, as well as maintenance/sustainment of the existing code base.
• Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly one week out of every 4-6 weeks).
