Job summary

NEC Software Solutions is seeking a software developer to grow within an experienced team, building secure, reliable software used in public-sector contexts. You will work on Java/Kotlin services, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and front-end interfaces, while learning across back-end and front-end technologies.

Successful candidates will have 2–5 years’ experience, familiarity with Git and CI/CD, and an eagerness to learn and take ownership in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in software development; commercial experience preferred.
• Hands-on with Java or Kotlin and Spring Boot; REST APIs and databases.
• Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and Agile collaboration.
• Experience with Spring Framework/Hibernate is a plus.
• Frontend basics (HTML/CSS/JS) and modern web patterns desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop across back-end and front-end, building secure, reliable software.
• Contribute to Java/Kotlin services, Spring Boot apps and REST integrations.
• Test changes, perform code reviews and follow engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product, QA and DevOps to deliver working software.
