Job summary

WorldQuant Millennium Advisors (WMA) is seeking a Full Stack Developer to build and enhance internal analytic tools and dashboards supporting product, platform, and business workflows. You will create scalable, user-friendly internal applications with SPA architectures using React and modern UI libraries.

The role blends business analysis, data analytics, and web development, emphasizing SQL querying, Python/Java/C++, and Unix/Linux environments.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in web development, analytics, or related technical roles.
• Experience with React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Expertise in constructing and processing complex SQL queries with relational databases.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++; familiarity with Unix/Linux tooling.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Knowledge of REST/JSON middleware, caching, data visualization, log aggregation, and queuing systems.
• Experience with DevOps: webservers (Apache/Nginx/Tomcat) and monitoring/load-balancing tools.
• Familiarity with job schedulers (Airflow, cron). Finance experience not required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain internal analytical tools and dashboards.
• Build SPAs using React and UI libraries like Tailwind or Material UI.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and workflows.
• Use SQL (and Polar) to support reporting and data needs.
• Support testing, deployment, and CI/CD processes.
• Improve dashboards for usability, performance, and scalability.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve workflows and visibility.
