Job summary

Eccalon, LLC is seeking a Full Stack Developer to design, build, and ship production software for DoD and DoD-related programs. You will handle React front-ends and Next.js apps, plus Node.js/Python APIs hosted in AWS, leveraging LLM capabilities to accelerate delivery while maintaining security and compliance.

You will collaborate with DevOps, UX/UI, and program leadership in a security-focused environment, applying modern AI-assisted development techniques and trunk-based workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent).
• 3+ years shipping production web apps as a Full Stack Developer.
• Experience with DoD/federal contracting or regulated environments is a plus.
• Hands-on with LLM APIs (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI) in production apps.
• Relational DBs (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB) experience.
• RESTful API design, microservices, and AWS services knowledge.
• Git and trunk-based development; GitHub/GitLab collaboration.
• CI/CD in cloud environments; security-focused DevSecOps awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web apps from UI to data layer.
• Build UI with React/Next.js; create reusable component libraries.
• Integrate LLM AI features using Claude/OpenAI with RAG workflows.
• Implement secure, scalable back-end services and REST APIs.
• Connect front-end with AWS services and implement OAuth2/OIDC flows.
• Apply security best practices per NIST 800-171/CMMC and perform reviews.
