Job summary

State Street is seeking a skilled FullStack developer for Data Lake activities. The role requires hands-on expertise in Java, React, Python, with strong data and PL/SQL knowledge and 5-8 years IT experience.

Experience in Financial Services and cloud-based data engineering platforms is preferred. The candidate will work with senior development managers, architects and business leadership to develop and execute the technology product roadmap, focusing on microservices and distributed computing

Qualifications

• 5-8 years IT experience
• Strong development skills in Java, React, Python
• Experience with data processing and data lake platforms
• Financial services domain experience preferred
• Cloud-based data engineering exposure
• Experience building microservices & distributed systems

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on development across the SDLC from design to deployment.
• Design and architect end-to-end solutions; perform system tests prior to release.
• Mentor junior staff; communicate status and risks to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with architects and senior leaders to drive the technology roadmap.
• Provide clear technical documentation and guidance to teams.
• Maintain strong written and verbal communication; work independently.
