Job Title: Full Stack Data Engineer

Position: Remote - Full Stack Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Ingestion and Integration: Design and implement scalable data pipelines; integrate data from various sources.
2. Data Storage and Management: Develop and maintain data lakes, warehouses, and NoSQL databases; optimize storage solutions.
3. Data Processing and Transformation: Implement workflows for cleaning, transforming, and enriching data; apply ETL/ELT processes.
4. Data Modeling and Optimization: Design data models for analytics; optimize for performance and storage.
5. Software Development and Integration: Build applications and APIs; integrate workflows with existing systems.
6. Monitoring and Maintenance: Establish monitoring systems; perform regular maintenance to ensure system reliability.
7. Documentation and Collaboration: Document processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala
• Strong SQL and database concepts knowledge
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of data warehousing solutions (Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake)
• Familiarity with version control and best practices (Git, Agile, CI/CD)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Pharma, Biotech, CPG, Retail, or Manufacturing industries
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes
• Knowledge of streaming frameworks (Apache Kafka, Flink)
• Understanding of data governance and security
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
