Job summary

Dexian in Louisville is seeking a full-time, full-stack Software Engineer with a strong backend focus to join our automation initiatives. The role emphasizes C#, .NET, Python or similar, with 70-80% backend work and heavy use of AI, RAG pipelines, LLM integrations, and prompt engineering.

You will design end-to-end automation solutions, build data pipelines, and collaborate with a team of C# and Angular developers.

Qualifications

• Proven backend development experience.
• Familiarity with RAG concepts, embeddings, and vector search.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for system and integration issues.
• Knowledge of workflow automation tools (n8n, Zapier, Airflow) and Redis.
• Experience managing cloud environments, preferably Azure.
• Understanding of version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to monitor system health and script failures in production.

Responsibilities

• Design and build end-to-end automation solutions, including integrations and data pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and apply AI where appropriate.
• Manage data movement and integration between systems, ensuring data freshness.
• Develop AI features like prompt design and LLM integrations to add value.
• Work with C#/.NET and Angular teams on feature development and code reviews.
• Deploy, maintain, and monitor containerized services and vector storage on cloud platforms.
• Engage external consultants as needed and prototype automation ideas quickly.
