Job summary

Google Operations Center is hiring a software engineer to design, implement, test, and deliver scalable features for internal and external apps. You will work in an Agile environment, maintain CI/CD pipelines, and ensure performance against SLOs/SLAs.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of production-grade full-stack experience, strong Java/Spring/REST, and frontend skills (HTML5/CSS3/JS/TypeScript) with Angular or React, plus SQL/NoSQL. Collaborative, global teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience building, maintaining, optimizing production-grade full-stack apps.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience with Git-based workflows and modern CI/CD tools.
• Analytical mindset with excellent communication for global cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and launch responsive features for internal and external apps.
• Actively adopt Scrum/Agile methodologies throughout the SDLC.
• Scale applications and infrastructure while maintaining SLOs/SLAs.
• Evaluate and improve architecture, code quality, and resiliency via Code Reviews.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines for rapid, secure releases.
• Respond to production bugs, troubleshoot alerts, and implement fixes.
• Keep technical documentation current with platform changes.
