Job summary

Jobtailor in Connecticut seeks a seasoned software engineer to design and own the front-end architecture of a React application and to build UI from wireframes. You will also containerize and deploy the API layer to Google Cloud using GKE, with a cross-cutting focus on back-end, front-end, and API layers.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in enterprise/web/cloud development, strong API and React JS/Typescript skills, and experience with Python, Flask/FastAPI, and modern JS tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development in enterprise/web/cloud applications.
• Experience with API development and React JS, Typescript.
• Experience with HTML5/CSS and JavaScript.
• Experience with JavaScript libraries such as JQuery and Bootstrap.
• Experience with Python.
• Experience with building automation technologies like Maven, Jenkins, etc.
• Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with Flask, FastAPI, or similar API frameworks.
• Hands on experience with Google Cloud Platform preferably, but alternatively Azure or AWS.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.
