Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG is seeking an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst to contribute to the design, development and testing of new or revised application systems within Citi's Technology team.

The role emphasizes collaboration with users and technology groups, hands-on coding in Java/Spring Boot and full-stack capabilities, and maintaining robust, secure software in a financial services environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka, Microservices, React, JavaScript, CSS, Git and SQL.
• 2+ years of MongoDB, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform.
• 2+ years of Full Stack Development.
• 2+ years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry.
• 2+ year's level experience in Applications Development role.

Responsibilities

• Utilize knowledge of development procedures and concepts to identify system enhancements.
• Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues and recommend programming solutions.
• Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications.
• Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, and perform testing and debugging.
• Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts.
• Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to implement solutions.
• Resolve issues by applying technical experience and precedents.
• Operate with limited direct supervision and exercise independence of judgement.
• Act as SME to senior stakeholders and team members.
• Drive compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and Citi policies; escalate and report control issues.
