Job summary

Citi in Rutherford, New Jersey is seeking an Applications Development Intermediate Programmer Analyst to contribute to implementing new and revised application systems in coordination with the Technology team.

You will apply knowledge of programming languages, assist users and stakeholders, analyze applications for security issues, mentor junior analysts, and help manage risk in line with Citi policies. This is a full-time role with competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

2+ years of relevant experience with Python in the Financial Service industry
Intermediate level experience in Applications Development role
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements

Responsibilities

Identify system enhancements and support customer exposure systems.
Consult with users and teams on issues and propose programming solutions.
Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and perform testing and debugging.
Provide guidance to junior analysts and act as SME to stakeholders.
Escalate and manage risk per Citi policies and standards.
