Arctiq, a global, intelligence-driven technology services company, seeks a Full Stack Application Developer with Java and Python to design, develop, and support enterprise applications. You will deliver end-to-end solutions, APIs, and integrations in an Agile, remote-friendly environment.

The role emphasizes secure, scalable software engineering, mentoring, and collaboration with analysts, architects, and product owners. This is a 1-year contract with remote work options in the US or Canada.

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Application Developer with expertise in Java and Python to design, develop, and support modern enterprise applications. This role will be responsible for delivering end-to-end solutions across both front-end and back-end technologies, developing scalable APIs, integrating enterprise systems, and supporting cloud-native application development.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in full-stack software engineering, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and is passionate about building secure, scalable, and high-performing applications in an Agile environment.

This is a (1) year contract opportunity with one of Arctiq's client. Candidates can work remotely in US or Canada.

Key Responsibilities

• Experience with automated testing frameworks and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.

Nice to Have

• Experience modernizing legacy enterprise applications.
• Experience with serverless computing and cloud-native architectures.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Experience implementing application security best practices, including OAuth2, JWT, and secure API development.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, or government.
