Job summary

Delta Air Lines is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer for the API Acceleration team. You will design, build, and maintain enterprise API tooling, automated testing frameworks, and developer platform experiences, spanning frontend interfaces, backend microservices, and cloud-native infrastructure to help internal engineering teams manage APIs securely and at scale.

You will work across internal engineering teams to manage APIs securely at scale, collaborating with security and infrastructure

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript and React experience.
• Experience building REST and GraphQL APIs; AWS cloud familiarity.
• IaC with CDK/CloudFormation or SAM; GitLab or equivalent.
• Proficient in Agile, CI/CD, and cross-team collaboration.
• Uphold safety and data privacy; authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Platform Engineering: design and develop full‑stack features for internal API products.
• Framework Automation: build automated API testing frameworks and workflows.
• Standards & Testing: write clean, documented code with CI/CD alignment.
• API Governance: contribute to API catalog features and onboarding flows.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with security, identity, and infra teams.
