Job summary

Storm2 is hiring an experienced software engineer in San Francisco to ship AI-driven features that impact revenue, conversion, and underwriting efficiency. You will work across frontend, backend, and AI infrastructure, collaborating with founders and business teams to iterate quickly and measure outcomes.

You’ll own production systems, move fast from concept to production, and present learnings to stakeholders in a fast-growing InsurTech startup environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience shipping production software systems.
• Experience building AI-powered products, including LLM applications or workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Build AI-powered product features across the full stack.
• Design and deploy agent workflows, LLM applications, and automation systems.
• Collaborate with sales, service, and underwriting teams to remove bottlenecks.
• Create feedback loops, evaluations, and decision-tracing to improve models.
• Test and implement new AI capabilities as tooling evolves.
• Ship production code rapidly and measure business impact.
• Own outcomes such as conversion, efficiency, and user adoption.
• Present results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
