Job summary

InstaLILY, based in New York with offices in SF and London, is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to own end-to-end features across the stack using TypeScript, React, Python, and FastAPI. You’ll work across backend services, agent infrastructure, APIs, and customer-facing UIs.

This deeply client-facing role requires translating enterprise workflows into shipped features, defending architectural decisions, and contributing to production-grade AI-powered systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS or related field; demonstrated ability matters more than credential.
• 3–5 years of software engineering experience shipping production systems across the full stack.
• Strong backend (Python) and frontend (React/Next.js) experience; cloud and CI/CD exposure.
• Production experience with cloud infrastructure and AI/LLM-relevant projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design and delivery of features across the full stack: backend services, agent infrastructure, APIs, and customer-facing web UIs
• Build, ship, and operate LLM-powered systems: agents, RAG pipelines, tool-use frameworks, evaluation harnesses, and reliable production infra
• Lead technical discovery with new enterprise customers; map workflows and translate needs into shipped product
• Embed with customer teams during deployments; defend architectural choices to non-technical executives
• Present architecture tradeoffs to executives and defend them under pressure
