Job summary

Jobgether partners with a US‑based company to hire a Full Stack Generative AI Engineer. You will craft modern digital apps powered by Generative AI, analytics, and diverse data sources across frontend, backend, and AI layers.

You will translate complex requirements for research, knowledge discovery, information retrieval, and data‑driven decisions, collaborating with engineers, data scientists, product teams, and business stakeholders in a fast‑moving environment.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional experience in software engineering or full‑stack development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong hands‑on experience with modern JavaScript and TypeScript, including React; Next.js is strongly preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience developing backend services and APIs; FastAPI helpful.
• Experience working with SQL databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience deploying AI‑enabled applications and integrating LLM APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance full‑stack applications across the frontend, backend, database, and AI layers.
• Build modern, responsive user interfaces using React, Next.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Develop scalable backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Design, query, and integrate data using Microsoft SQL Server and other relevant data sources.
• Integrate Generative AI and LLM capabilities into enterprise applications and workflows.
• Develop AI‑enabled solutions for information retrieval, summarization, knowledge discovery, question answering, and decision support.
• Build applications capable of working with scientific literature, real‑world evidence, and structured and unstructured information.
• Apply prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and LLM APIs where appropriate.
• Collaborate with data scientists, AI professionals, product teams, business partners, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Evaluate emerging AI technologies and development practices and recommend approaches that improve application capabilities.
• Write clean, maintainable, well‑tested code while contributing to sound engineering standards and practices.
• Assess the quality, accuracy, and reliability of AI‑generated outputs and help improve performance.
