About the Role

Our client, a global pharmaceutical and healthcare organization, is seeking a Full Stack Generative AI Engineer to join an innovative technology team.

This team develops modern digital applications that leverage Generative AI, real-world evidence, scientific literature, and advanced data analytics to help teams make faster, better-informed decisions.

The team is building a growing portfolio of internal applications that bring AI and modern software engineering into real-world healthcare and pharmaceutical workflows. These applications are designed to accelerate research, knowledge discovery, and response development for stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a strong full-stack software engineer with experience building modern web applications and a demonstrated interest in Generative AI and LLM-powered applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications.

• Question-answering or knowledge-management applications.

The ideal candidate does not need to be a machine-learning researcher. This role is focused on engineering and deploying useful applications that leverage AI.

We are looking for a software engineer first and an AI enthusiast second.

The strongest candidates will have solid full-stack engineering fundamentals and be comfortable working across the frontend, backend, database, and AI layers of an application.

They should be curious, adaptable, and comfortable learning new technologies. They will work closely with business and scientific stakeholders to understand complex problems and turn them into practical technology solutions.

A background in pharmaceuticals or life sciences is not required. The ability to build high-quality software and work with emerging AI technologies is more important.

Candidates who have built AI-enabled web applications from concept through deployment will be particularly attractive.
