Job summary

Cassidy is a no-code platform helping teams build AI-powered automations without heavy engineering. We are looking for an autonomous engineer to own core features and infrastructure across the stack.

You will design interfaces with Node, React, and Postgres, contribute to advanced AI work with LLMs, RAG, and AI agents, and help shape a scalable architecture as we grow. On-site in NYC, 0–2 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of professional software development experience.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Comfortable working on-site in NYC (4–5 days/week).
• Proactive, self-motivated problem solver with strong communication skills.
• Experience in a typed environment (TypeScript) across Node.js, React, Postgres, etc.

Responsibilities

• Build intuitive interfaces across Node, React, and Postgres to empower non-technical users to design AI automations.
• Explore advanced AI involving LLMs, Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI agents from prototyping to production releases.
• Shape core architecture and refine the stack to handle growing data and usage.
• Iterate with product and design in a tight loop to deliver high-impact features efficiently.
