Job summary

PeopleOne Health in Melbourne, FL seeks a board-certified Primary Care Physician with training in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics to deliver full-spectrum care for adults and children.

You will work with an onsite clinical pharmacist, dietitian, and care coordinators to provide extended visits, coordinated care, and a proactive, relationship-centered model within our direct-pay system.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Combined Internal Medicine & Pediatrics.
• Active and unrestricted medical license in state of practice; DEA certification.
• No J-1 or other visa sponsorships available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary care to patients of all ages, including preventive services, chronic disease management, and acute illness treatment.
• Perform in-office procedures such as joint injections, skin biopsies, cryotherapy, laceration repair, incision and drainage, and Pap smears.
• Educate, support, and counsel patients on health promotion, disease prevention, medication management, and lifestyle changes.
• Build long-term patient relationships through consistent communication and extended appointment times.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including pharmacists, dietitians, care coordinators, and behavioral health partners.
• Document all encounters and care plans accurately in the EHR.
• Engage in clinical quality initiatives and continuous improvement to enhance care delivery.
• Support a value-based, direct-pay care model focused on proactive, personalized care.
• Participate in provider meetings, case reviews, and ongoing education.
• Assist in business development and community outreach to grow the practice.
