Job summary

PeopleOne Health is seeking a board-certified Primary Care Physician with training in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics to join our team. The role emphasizes full-spectrum primary care, including procedures such as joint injections and Pap smears, with long appointment times and a focus on building lasting patient relationships.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team including an onsite clinical pharmacist, registered dietitian, care coordinators, and behavioral health

Qualifications

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Board Certification in Family Medicine or Combined Internal Medicine & Pediatrics
• Active and unrestricted medical license in state of health center location
• Current DEA certification in good standing
• No J-1 or other visa sponsorships available for this position

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages
• Perform in-office procedures (joint injections, skin biopsies, cryotherapy, laceration repair, incision and drainage, Pap smears)
• Promote patient-centered health through education and counseling
• Build long-term patient relationships with extended appointment times
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (pharmacists, dietitians, care coordinators, behavioral health)
• Document and manage care accurately in the EHR
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and adherence to metrics
• Support a value-based care model with proactive, personalized care
• Participate in provider meetings and continuing education
• Contribute to business development and community outreach to grow the practice
