Job summary

Child Guidance Center in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Full Service School Therapist to support students, families, and school teams. You will provide individual, family, and group counseling in schools, homes, or office settings, using a family systems approach tailored to each client’s needs.

The role requires a Florida-licensed eligible master's, completion of internship to register as an intern in FL, and Level 2 clearance.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from a Florida license-eligible program (mental health counseling, social work, or marriage & family therapy)
• Completed internship qualifying you to register as a registered intern in FL
• Level 2 clearance from DCF Clearing house - https://info.flclearinghouse.com
• Reliable transportation, valid FL driver’s license, and auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Provide meaningful individual, family, and group counseling in schools, homes, or office settings
• Use a solution-focused, family systems approach tailored to each client’s needs
• Complete assessments, evaluations, treatment plans, and documentation in a timely manner
• Develop treatment plans using current ICD/DSM diagnoses
