Job summary

CGC is seeking a Full Service School Therapist to support students and families in Florida. You will provide individual, family, and group counseling in schools, homes, or office settings, using a solution-focused, family systems approach and develop treatment plans based on ICD/DSM diagnoses.

Requirements include a Master’s degree in a licensed-eligible program, completion of internship for registration as a Florida intern, valid Florida driver’s license, reliability, and a willingness to work

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mental health counseling, social work, or marriage & family therapy from an approved program.
• Internship completed to qualify for registration as a Florida intern.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group counseling in schools, homes, or office settings.
• Use a solution-focused, family systems approach tailored to client needs.
• Complete assessments, evaluations, treatment plans, and documentation promptly.
• Develop treatment plans using ICD/DSM diagnoses.

Requirements

What You’ll Bring:

• Master’s degree from a Florida license-eligible program (mental health counseling, social work, or marriage & family therapy)
• Completed internship qualifying you to register as a registered intern in FL
• Level 2 clearance from DCF Clearing house - https://info.flclearinghouse.com
• Reliable transportation, valid FL driver’s license, and auto insurance

Preferred:

• Experience working with children, families, and treatment planning
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus
• Familiarity with electronic health records
