Job summary

Nao Medical is seeking a Primary Care Physician (MD/DO) for our Astoria, NY clinic. You will provide full-scope outpatient care for patients across all ages, from well-child visits to chronic disease management, with AI-assisted charting to minimize documentation time.

The role emphasizes leadership, flexible scheduling, and a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive pay, sign-on, and quarterly incentives. NY licensure is required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Licensed to practice as a Physician (MD/DO) in New York State.
• Completed residency in Family Medicine or Combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics (Med-Peds).
• Comfortable and experienced treating pediatric patients, including infants and young children.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and Infection Control Training.
• Strong HIPAA knowledge; experience with EMR systems.
• Must obtain FMCSA certification within first 3 months (CDL exams).
• MAT certificate required
• DEA registration preferred
• Preferred: urgent care or primary care experience; bilingual English/Spanish

Responsibilities

• Care for all ages: outpatient primary and urgent care across pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Diagnose and treat: evaluate and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Drive the workup: order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostics.
• Own the plan: develop treatment plans and manage follow-up care.
• Chart smarter: document visits in the EMR using technology-driven tools.
