Job summary

Sun State Eye Care in Phoenix seeks a licensed Optometrist to join our patient-centered team. You will meet with new and existing patients, review assessment results, and discuss concerns while performing comprehensive eye exams and prescribing lenses.

The ideal candidate holds a Doctorate of Optometry with a valid state license, strong communication, and the ability to work well with others in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Optometry from an accredited school.
• A valid state license to practice optometry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with new and existing patients to determine concerns and needs.
• Conduct a comprehensive eye exam to address all issues and find defects or abnormalities.
• Diagnose conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, and cataracts.
• Collaborate with the office team and outside providers to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
