Job summary

Eye Trends in North Houston seeks a patient-focused Optometrist for full-time work across Conroe, Kingwood, Spring and The Woodlands. You’ll provide comprehensive eye care and manage a range of visual and medical conditions while collaborating with the Practice Manager and support staff to grow access to quality eye health.

The ideal candidate has a Doctor of Optometry and a collaborative, adaptable mindset.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D., including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure
• 1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills
• Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Responsibilities

• Practice full-scope optometry across multiple Eye Trends clinics in North Houston area (Conroe, Kingwood, Spring, The Woodlands)
• Provide comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages and a variety of visual/medical conditions
• Collaborate with Practice Manager, Patient Coordinator, Optometric Technician, and Optician to support growth and access to care
• Each location uses advanced diagnostic technology and supports approximately 22 patients per doctor per day
• Full-time floating schedule with weekday eight-hour shifts and Saturday coverage as needed
